File and image address error?

Hello SamEA!

I think I found a new bug, about the file and image address. Now the file address is http://xxx.com/123test.rar. The 123 is random number and test.rar is file name. But if the file name is a special characters, Then the file address will error and can not access. I think We can use another address. For example, http://xxx.com/files/abcdefgh. The abcdefgh is random characters. Each file has a different random character. if it is a image. For example, http://xxx.com/images/abcdefgh.

If you think my idea could, I think the random characters length needs at least 8 digits.

How do you think of my idea?

Hello War3andc.s,

This is more of a feature request than it is a bug, because many people prefer the title in the download link. However, I can create a mod where the link would be based on random numbers and digits. I believe that mode will be very useful for file hosters involving many symbols e.g. Arabic and Chinese file names.

I recommend using random characters instead of numbers, because 26 > 10. I think you can add an option in the setting center. Users can select a different address. For example, http://xxx.com/123test.rar or http://xxx.com/files/abcdefgh.

I shall take the above request into consideration. It will hopefully be implemented very soon. Thank you.

Hello SamEA!

I've had a busy two weeks and back now. I want to know, this feature will update in DFH v1.2? I think this feature is very important.

It will soon be implemented in v1.3 hopefully, and if I have the time, I'll create a MOD for v1.2.
