Works fine with me. Make sure you have CHMODED ./secure/bans.dfh correctly.

i have chmod the files right.. its 0777 but are you sure you did it right?

try this upload the file.. go to the download link and report it.. then go to the delete link and delete it

after that go to your admin panel and to the abuse folder and you will see a blank file on the list and you cant delete it.. its says it doesnt exist.. is there anyway i can delete it manually

That is exactly what I have done.

Uploaded a file --> Reported it --> AdminCP --> Abuse --> Delete and the file disappears from the list.

Yes, you can do it manually.

Let's say the filename is called 738Example.rar

Deleting the file manually:
./files/738Example.rar.dfh
./storage/738Example.rar

Deleting the report:
Open ./secure/reports.dfh
Either clear the whole file or delete the one report made for 738Example.rar (it will be on a separate line stating the filename and the IP address of the user who reported it).

I see, but why are you making the process extremely difficult? If there is a file reported and you require to pay attention to that report, then just delete it using the abuse system. If by chance you deleted a file that was reported, then just head off to the reports and manually remove that report.

If this is to be brought up more than once, then I shall look deeper into this, however at the moment I don't see anyone with the problem.

Nevertheless, keep me updated with how many times you encounter this problem.

This helped me to clear an empty row in the abuse tab.

Thanks.
