Downloading file all over again,

Also i have some problem with downloading files. It's just when every download is finished script returns to the previous adress: http://xxxxxxx.xxx/download.php?file=xxxxx and asks me to download it again as a registered user or guest.
I think that after file is downloaded there should be information displayed, something like "Thank You for downloading this file" etc.
It's so unexpected to be ask if i want to download the same file again. Is it just the way it should be? Or some kind of bug?
