Why would you want to upload a file less than 1KB to begin with? Does the same error happen in the demo?

Upload file named "Navicat for MySQL注册码"txt file to try, can not upload here(
http://os.uuz.cc/disk/dfh/), but it actually can be uploaded in the demo site(
http://www.daddyscripts.com/demo/dfh11/).
English is not very good, hope you can understand what I mean, thank you!

I believe that's because you're running an IIS server, did you try an alternative such as WAMP to manage apache and php? I've no experience running the script in windows nor do I use IIS, but maybe someone else here in the community may be able to help. Your problem seems to be with illegal characters and so I advise you research that on Google. Such keywords as "IIS characters problem" and etc for example.
Is there a reason why you require files below 1KB to be uploaded?

Peters I suggest to be very careful at this point because usually hackers try upload small files/scripts to extract information from the site.
I think there should be a limit somewhere.
As said before on my other posts that I have had problems with hackers ulploading small files into my mfh to gather data.
They usually used to upload php files/scripts into the image section mfh or ds.
