Warning: is_dir()

I have the same problem, and I also put the .htacces in the "files" dictonary, but there ist still the problem.
Warning: is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(./storage/.htaccess/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/customers/webs/ni178222_2/:/var/customers/tmp/ni178222_2/:/usr/share/php/:/usr/share/php5/:/tmp/) in /var/customers/webs/ni178222_2/index.php on line 109

P.S.: Is the PayPal thing only for donators?
