Delete a file as unregistered User

Postby getnani » Mon Aug 15, 2011 8:20 am

Hi there,

I am so far so pleased with this DFH v1.2
I guess I am missing one feature- enabling unregistered users to delete files that they upload using the delete url they get.

When we use these delete urls, it goes back to download page if unregistered. any reason why? is it meant to work like that?

PS: is there a page which differentiates the features of v1.2 and v2 (apart from using mysql)

Thanks very much!!,
nAni.

Both v1.2 and v2 do not use MySQL, as it is based on flat-file-hosting. No, this is not normal and I will fix this error soon. Thank you for reporting this bug.

There are many pages in DFH v2 which are different than v1.2.

Ooopps.... Thanks...
Great that I was of some help!!

One more silly question... Imagine I am running out of space... how to add more space for uploads, by adding a hard disk.
The only way I think is by using lvm2(based on experience with lvm2, i guess recovery from corruption is very low compared to other fs).
Is there any other option? Especially, is there something specific to dfh?
If it is not possible, can we think of implementing any feature like this- i guess it would make dfh stand out.

The bug has now been fixed. Upgrade to v1.2.1 by going to viewtopic.php?f=4&t=154.

In regards to adding more space, a "multi-server" feature will be implemented in DFH in the near future. The release date of this feature is still unknown.
