Nevermind, I fixed this as well too
What is was doing was giving me the correct download link but when I clicked on the file in the "Top 10", it would redirect back to my subdomain, causing the 404. What I did was change the script URL in Settings from "http://technofrat.com/download/" to "http://www.technofrat.com/download/", including the WWW. Maybe you should make note in your script that the WWW is needed in the script url, that seemed to fix the problem for me. Thank you.
