Did you guys take over production from the MiniFilehost script?

No, MFH belongs to GalaxyScripts and DFH is a modified version of MFH. One of the founders of DFH used to be one of the community's developers and a Global Moderator, but with GalaxyScripts being bought by another person (Steeve) lead to it's development being put on hold. This is when we decided to continue the development of the project ourselves, but crediting the original source throughout the files.

The latest news I have heard, is that MFH is going to be completely re-coded and a smarty template system was going to be installed which would make DFH and MFH seperate into two different paths.

At this present moment, DFH has the following features MFH does not have:

_ Multiple Upload Support

_ Progress Bar Support (indicating how much bytes have been transferred and how long remaining)

_ Proper control of the file types and file size, which can now be controlled using the Admin Panel.

There is no competition between MFH and DFH, at the end of the day they are both open-source scripts and are free for the public to modify and use.
